How Did I End 2012?

Well, The New Year of 2013 has just dawned, in fact safely, proofing the Mayan Acopalyse was simply bulls**t! In fact, I had a great time near the end of 2012!

Li was recommending one unique farm to me to visit and after checking on the internet I thought it was quite interesting, so we went there one fine Sunday!

They call it the village-themed petting zoo-Farm In The City , located in Seri Kembangan/Serdang, just behind the Giant hypermarket! What? a zoo/farm behind a shopping mall, how can that be good? I asked myself.

Upon reaching the place and seeing the entrance, i almost wanted to patah balik!

Giving it another chance, we still parked the cars and walked in. Just 100m after the Giant Entrance, finally we saw the real entrance to the farm, though a very modest and low key type.

But then I saw a more presentable photo of the entrance taken by one blogger, here it is. Looks better right?

The entrance fees are not cheap even for MyCard holders, Luckily they do have family package at a cheaper price BUT best is to buy any Groupon vouchers in future. (we missed the recent one).

Ok, the farm map with all the attractions is displayed on the hutty board. It looks impressive to me because of the variety of rare animals and the themes they have. Read on and you will agree with me!
The first attraction already gave me the highlight of the trip-the giant tortoise, seem like one from the Galapagos Island!

I was told it is weighing more than 45kg so I tried to lift it up!

Want to know how does people with consitipation problem look like? That's like me when lifting this giant "OKiu"(hokkien for tortoise)!!!  si beh HEAVY!

Btw, some bloggers are calling it turtle! Pls be guided accordingly, it is TORTOISE, not TURTLE!

In fact, the farm has some of the rearest tortoises/turtle on display:

                                            The alligator snapping turtle
Radisted Tortoise
Star Tortoise-the famous pet in Malaysia
Leopard Tortoise
After tortoise, we adjourned to the most scary thingy in the farm:

Mangrove snake

Malaysia's Largest Python lurks above visitor (not longest!)
Dwarf Caiman
After the Reptiles Cavern, next in line to welcome us were something more friendly--

visitor is given chance to feed the bird!
My turn!
Yati's
Ethan's
Last but not least,
Lukas the Great!
Above sequence also tell the bravery level from highest to lowest among few of us!

It's a female of the Peacock! What do you call that?
One blogger called it as Peacock! For your information, the female is called Peahen!
This you call the Peacock!
ok, done with the birds! What's next?

It's cute!
Brown Guinea Pig

My childhood favourite adventure!

Marmoset!

It's a Skink!

Mini Rooster from Thailand! it's very beautiful...

And You can feed the carps in the pond too, the food is given free!

Cow from Indonesia! same age as Ethan!

They were feeding the iguana with Vitamins! and these folks are very friendly and pro!

That's what we saw and experienced in the farm! Well If you don't give a damn about animals, don't bother to visit as it is not cheap to get in. Unless you want close encounter with the exotic pets, this is where you can realise your dream!
